Civil Engineering Academy has created a free 3 part video series to help you prepare, take, and pass the civil engineering PE exam.
Did I mention it's free?
I know how important it is to get started out on the right foot. I can remember when I started I had to figure out all the materials I needed, where to get them, and really how to eliminate all the extra stuff that was out there.
How many hours, weeks, or months do I need to really study for the exam? What is the exam like and the questions they ask? What do I need to pass? All of this and more is answered in the free video series we created, so come with me as I share a glimpse of what we have to offer and then go sign up!
If you already know you want to get started on this then wait no longer and click the link below to get signed up to get going!
What's Covered in the Free Three Part Video Series
List of Steps
Find Your Resources
We all know that the PE exam is an open book exam. The first thing you need to start gathering is your resources. This free series will focus on your breadth resources, but it will also cover where you should be getting your depth resources too.
Standards are also a must. You need to make sure you bring in the standards that relate to your depth topic with you. And make sure you get the latest editions or the editions that relate to your depth exam as outlined from the NCEES specifications. You do not want to be caught missing a few easy questions when they can be simple look up problems.
We go into a little more depth about your resources, what's good, what's bad, and everything in-between.
Exam Strategies
Is the exam tricky? Is it hard? Is there a method to guessing on the PE exam? These questions are asked every exam cycle and so we cover it as part of the series.
The exam isn't necessary tricky but they do throw things on there that will make you think - or even take a double take. These are the kinds of things covered and we can't wait to share them with you.
Specification Review
You know you need to review the specifications put out by the NCEES. Let us help you navigate some of it.
We'll also dive into some of the pass rates and discuss sections that are a must to study and others that you might need to focus on so much.
Study Effectively
Many civil engineers have been out of school for 2 to 4 years. The study habits of college have long been gone and they need the help, motivation, and guidance to get back into study mode.
This free video series will help you to determine the best strategies to study effectively so you can maximize your time. We know how busy you are with family, work, and all those hobbies, so let's get back into the saddle and learn how to study effectively for this exam. It's not an easy exam.
