FE Exam Breakdown
The FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam is a 110 question, 5hrs 20mins, computer-based exam. That means you can count on roughly 3 minutes per problem.
The exam is split into a morning and afternoon section. The morning section contains a broad scope of questions, while the afternoon portion includes more questions related to the specific disciplines within civil engineering, like water resources, geo-tech, etc.
In my opinion, that can make the afternoon portion harder to get through. You'll really need to set yourself up to ace the morning portion so that you can dig deep in the afternoon.
