Here you will find a playlist of structural problems to help you in studying for the PE exam; specifically, for the structural portion. More PE problems will be added over time, but what I have should help to get you started preparing. I highly encourage you to pause the video at the beginning and solve the problem yourself and then resume play and watch how I did it. Doing that will get you in tune with working these out first before rushing to see a solved problem. That alone will help you do three things:
1) Get used to looking up formulas and information in your reference materials.
2) Get you in the mindset of solving these problems on your own without any help, and figuring out alternative ways to solve problems. As they say, “there is more than one way to skin a cat.” Insensitive, yes, but the principle is true. The way you think might be different than the way I solved the problem and that's no problem at all.
3) Build your confidence. Working problems will build your confidence up – simple as that.
4) If you realize that you may need more help in this area of study or need a course to help guide you then check out The Ultimate Civil PE Review Course right here.
Good luck with studying! Let's do this!
